Taylor Statten Camps
Generation Seven Consulting has been working with the Taylor Statten Camps on an innovative Green Sustainability Planning process. Our process takes a holistic view of the camps in order to reduce the environmental footprint, save on operating costs, and create a fun and experiential programming for campers that reflects the goals of our future generations and tomorrows leaders.
Green Sustainability Planning:
Global and local environmental challenges currently facing companies and municipalities highlight the need for an overarching sustainability-based approach to long-term planning. Sustainability—designing the built environment and organizations to maintain and enhance the natural environment—is a powerful concept that inspires innovative problem solving. Sustainability Planning is designed to achieve the "triple bottom line" benefits of environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic progress.
Proponents of sustainable planning generally believe the challenges facing business productivity and the environment may be resolved by using innovative design and industrial practices that reduce the impacts associated with goods and services.
Green sustainability planning is considered a means of doing that while maintaining quality of life by using clever design to substitute less harmful products and processes for conventional ones.
